(CercleFinance.com) – 2CRSi Canada announces the deployment of a set of Edge-Computing servers, in public buildings to reuse wasted heat to replace fossil fuel heating.
‘Edge Computing’ computer technology makes it possible to decentralize data processing on small sites, thus optimizing communication in areas where bandwidth is restricted.
The cooling systems of this facility are connected to the heating system which previously used fossil fuels such as gas or oil. From now on, the heat produced by this computing center helps to heat these places.
The 2CRSi solution is powered by electricity with a very low carbon impact. With its local partner, access to a new market worth more than 300 million Canadian dollars (or approximately 205 ME) has just begun for 2CRSI in Quebec.
