Figures down slightly, but still just as dizzying. In the past 24 hours, 436,167 people have tested positive for Covid-19, against 464,769 the day before, according to Public Health France (SpF). These new epidemic data thus bring the average* to 320,069 daily cases over the past seven days, against 287,603 the previous Tuesday.
On the hospital side, 3,187 new people have been admitted in the past 24 hours. This last figure is higher than a week earlier, proof that – for the time being – hospital tension is not coming down. A total of 27,230 patients are hospitalized. A figure that has been constantly increasing since the beginning of the year due to the spread of the Omicron variant.
