In a future update, Windows 11 will be enriched with a new practical feature for managing your Wi-Fi networks.

While Windows 12 is slowly starting to make people talk about it, let’s find out without further ado what its big brother still has in store for us in the months to come.

Windows 11 will soon welcome two new options

Microsoft definitely seems determined to improve the experience offered by its operating system, and more particularly with regard to the management and use of Wi-Fi networks. Indeed, just this morning, we learned that the American giant was going to deploy a feature that would display Wi-Fi passwords.

Recently, Windows 11 beta testers can download the KB5027305 update for Windows 11. If this one is relatively thin in new features, it comes with two additions, starting with the integration of new languages for Narrator’s voice, including Chinese and Spanish. But the main novelty that will interest us today is the arrival of a new option for managing your internet networks.

You will be able to switch from a Wi-Fi network to a cellular network more quickly on Windows

As our colleagues inform us of Windows Latest, Microsoft will soon add a toggle option in network settings. This will simply allow you to switch from a cellular network to a Wi-Fi network (and vice versa). This can be particularly useful when the quality of your Wi-Fi network leaves something to be desired and you want to quickly switch to a 4G or 5G network. Its deployment in the stable version of Windows 11 could take place next fall, when the 23H2 update is released.

To activate it, you will have two options: click directly on the network icon located at the bottom of the screen (on the system tray), or go to the “Network and Internet” section from Windows 11 settings.
