+5.1%, towards an unexpected increase in your complementary in November

The rise is becoming clearer. A revaluation of the Agirc-Arrco supplementary pension is expected around 5% since mid-September and the first figures for the private pension scheme. The joint committee agreed on a 5.1% increase, which still has to be validated by the board of directors on 6 October.

A helping hand. The unions obtained a slight boost compared to the mathematical revaluation of the complementary Agirc-Arrco, Tuesday, September 27, in joint committee, as revealed Capital then The world, and as MoneyVox confirmed on Wednesday. Attention: have obtained… until this decision is confirmed by the board of directors of the Agirc-Arrco scheme on October 6th. However, the outcome is not in doubt since the employers’ organizations and most of the unions present agreed on this reassessment of 5.1% from November.

Fact, the boost is 0.2 points compared to a purely mathematical increase. This annual increase is in fact based either on the basis of inflation or on the basis of the evolution of the average wage per head (SMPT). In the current situation, it is the evolution of the estimated average salary 4.8% in 2022 which is retained. Added to it is a catch-up of last yearinflation having been underestimated in 2021. That is to say exactly 4.91% of mathematical upgrading taking into account all these elements. The unions have demanded a higher increase, in order to help withdrawals cope with inflation. The joint committee, where the employee unions and employers’ organizations sit, finally agreed to a slight boost: it validated by a majority agreement to give a leeway 0.2 points to the Board of Directors on October 6, allowing to go up to 5.1% in the current state of macroeconomic projections, explains Rgis Mezzasalma, confederal adviser to pensions at the CGT. Rgis Mezzasalma stresses, however, that the CGT has not signed this agreement, which remains below inflation and which the union therefore finds insufficient.

If all elements line up for a 5.1% rise in November, the final decision rests with the Board of Directors which will meet on October 6, recalls all the same the confederal secretary of FO Michel Beaugas. With an increase of 5.1%, the supplementary private scheme will therefore do better than the 4% increase anticipated voted this summer by Parliament for the basic pension. And as much as the two successive increases in the CNAV basic pension in 2022, +1.1% last January and therefore 4% in July.
