Little time, much hunger? Then this Schupfnudel pan is just the thing!

Juggling all the to-do’s in everyday life can sometimes get pretty tricky. Sometimes, in addition to work, household chores and the like, you just don’t have the time and desire to cook every day.

Nevertheless, you want to do something good for your body and feast on it. Luckily for those cases there are the 5 ingredient dishes that come within a quarter hour are prepared, taste delicious and are healthy. All you need are Schupfnudeln, that remaining vegetables from your fridge, in little cream and the dish practically cooks itself.

Creamy and spicy: noodle casserole with vegetables

The ingredients for 4 people:

  • ½ large zucchini
  • 250 grams of mushrooms
  • 500 g noodles
  • 250 ml cooking cream (light)
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes

The preparation:

  1. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  2. Wash and trim the courgettes and mushrooms and cut into small cubes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and fry the courgettes and mushrooms in hot water.
  4. Then add the Schupfnudeln and fry them as well.
  5. Now add the cream and let it simmer.
  6. At the end add the cherry tomatoes and simmer briefly.
  7. Finally, season with salt and pepper and serve.

Editor’s tip: You can also prepare your Schupfnudel pan with any other vegetables of your choice and simply replace the recipe with the ingredients mentioned above. Instead of zucchini and mushrooms, you can also choose leeks and carrots. You give the Schupfnudeln an extra portion of creaminess some cheese. Just add the cream at the end.

And if you prefer it sweet to savory: The Schupfnudeln are also wonderful in the sweet variant prepare. The warmed Schupfnudeln taste delicious, e.g. B. with Applesauce, cinnamon and sugar or powdered sugar.
