500,000 euros in debt – nightclub “G7” has slipped into bankruptcy

The nightclub “G7” in the Gstättengasse in Salzburg – formerly known as “Take Five” – ​​is broke. More than 500,000 euros in debt accumulated.

The boss of the operating company EBS Marketing GmbH filed for bankruptcy with his own application at the Salzburg regional court. According to KSV1870, around 45 creditors and ten employees are affected by the bankruptcy. More than 500,000 euros in debt accumulated. The cause is the restrictions on night astronomy in the course of the pandemic. The creditor protection association also states that the restaurant was taken over at the beginning of April 2021, i.e. when the corona restrictions were still in place. However, a continuation was unsuccessful. A refurbishment is still being examined, according to the KSV1870 announcement. The AKV also emphasizes that the company has not yet closed, but that operations have actually ceased.
