Update from April 18th: The smartwatch is now sold out due to high demand. Lidl does not offer an alternative, but you can get it from Aldi. The discounter offers the “Bip” from the well-known manufacturer Amazfit. It supports various sports modes and looks similar to the Apple Watch. If you prefer the round watch design, the Amazfit GTR might be suitable. It offers very similar features and costs 89.99 euros.

Lidl currently has a lot of technology on offer. Among other things, there is an inexpensive smartwatch for sports and leisure. It could serve as a motivational aid – without any fitness apps.
The smartwatch has a GPS connection and can measure your heart rate. It is protected against water and dust according to IP68, and various types of training such as running, hiking, cycling or swimming are supported.
In addition, steps, calories burned, activity duration and sleep can be tracked. Other functions include a medication reminder, weather display, call and message display and much more. The watch is connected to the cell phone via Bluetooth, Lidl also offers a free app for Android and iPhone.
The battery life is up to 38 days in standby mode, and a suitable USB cable is included in the delivery to charge the watch. The smartwatch from the discounter is quite simple overall, but offers many useful functions for just 70 euros. In comparison: For a top smartwatch like the Apple Watch 9 you have to pay at least 449 euros.

The Silvercrest smartwatch is available exclusively from Lidl, so a price comparison is not possible. However, the price-performance ratio is really good considering the features.
