Today, women are still far too complexed by their bodies. In any case, this is the result of a recent survey conducted by Opinion Way and Qilibri, published in June 2020.

The relationship that women have with their bodies is not always very rosy. If some manage to accept it as it is and to assume it proudly, others wage a real war against it with regimes and other diets that are sometimes harmful to health. This disenchantment is very real and has just been confirmed by a recent survey carried out by Opinion Way and Qilibri. The figures that emerge speak for themselves:

  • 6.3 / 10, this is the rating that the French give to their physical well-being
  • 75% of the French would like to be proud of their body
  • 84% of people surveyed believe that losing weight makes them feel more comfortable with their body
  • 90% find that eating a varied diet is effective in being comfortable with your body
  • 60% of women find themselves too fat

The French and their bodies, a conflicting relationship

Accepting your body is not an easy task, it is even a long term job. We spend our time denigrating him, when we just might learn to love him. Today, the survey teaches us that 75% of French people would like to be proud of their bodies. Proof that they are still influenced by this "perfect body" that they see on TV and in magazines from a young age, and which does not exist. Moreover, 53% consider that they are too fat, in particular 60% of women. Result, 47% of French people feel self-conscious about their body, and this is not normal.

Losing weight to feel more comfortable in your body?

For 84% of French people, losing weight makes them feel more comfortable in their body. A speech that is ultimately not surprising for a society that has been rambling on us since the dawn of time that you have to be tall and thin to be beautiful. The French are still far too obsessed with their physique. 89% of them believe that being comfortable with their body makes them more attractive, and 83% believe that it allows them to have a more fulfilling sexuality.

A balanced diet rather than diets

The French, on the other hand, are well aware that manhandling and torturing their body is not the solution to feeling better about themselves. In fact, more than the majority are skeptical about the effectiveness of diets and today opts for food rebalancing. A much more effective solution, which lasts over the long term and is above all much healthier for the body. Since its launch a year ago, the start-up Qilibri has been supporting the French by offering them a tailor-made food rebalancing program. And success is there! To learn more, it's here.
