The school authorities suspected last November that something was wrong with the result of the beauty contest. She discovered unauthorized access to hundreds of student accounts. Around the same time, the beauty queen reportedly bragged about using her mother’s account, Laura Rose Carroll, 50, who runs an elementary school in the same district, to vote.
Investigations finally showed that the student had received 246 votes as allegedly the most beautiful in the school from the same IP address. Investigators believe the mother helped Grover in the hacking attack to win the beauty pageant. In addition, the student is suspected of accessing the internal system of the school district and spying on her Gspänli since August 2019.
One of the Gspänli unpacked to the investigators: “I knew that Emily had been logging into her mother’s school account since the first year of college to access grades and test results. She looks up all the grades of our group of friends and makes comments about how she can find our test results all the time. “
Prosecutors want to treat them as adults
