Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan
This is how they prepared Archie for his little sister
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan prepared their son Archie for the little sister “by talking a lot about the baby”.
New role as big brother: Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39) have prepared their son Archie (2) well for the arrival of little sister Lili. How they did it, a spokesman for the couple told People magazine.
“They prepared Archie by talking a lot about the baby. He’s too small to understand, but he’s big enough that he’s starting to have a life of his own,” the source said. The two-year-old enjoys kindergarten and outdoor activities. “He’s going to have a fun summer,” it said. And he is “very happy to have a little sister”.
Archie was at the center of the baby announcement
Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born in London on May 6, 2019, was also the focus of Harry and Meghan’s baby announcement earlier this year. “We can confirm that Archie will be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to have their second child,” a spokesman for the couple told the magazine on Valentine’s Day.
The British Prince Harry and the American Meghan Markle have been married since May 2018. Their son was born around a year later. In spring 2020 the couple resigned from all positions and duties as senior royals and moved to California, where their daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on June 4th.
