This is the amount that each apprenticeship contract entered into to the State, according to a study carried out by the Goodwill-management firm for the Walt association. If the learning system is generally perceived as a cost for public finances, it would, on the contrary, allow the State coffers to be replenished. By comparing the amount earmarked for apprenticeship and the economic benefits generated by the latter, Walt concludes that 1 euro spent in favor of apprenticeship would ultimately earn him 1.21 euro. This would bring, with the explosion in the number of contracts signed in 2020, the total profit to 1.8 billion euros.
