Deezer still targets positive free cash flow in 2024

(AOF) – Deezer’s consolidated turnover amounted to 132.5 million euros in the first quarter of 2024, up 15% compared to the first quarter of 2023 (+14.2% at constant exchange rate). ). Deezer thus achieved a second consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, which confirms the group in its ability to achieve its objective of 10% growth in turnover in 2024, thanks to the growing contribution of partnerships, and the continued expansion of direct broadcasting in France, due to the impact of new price increases.

The group also confirms its objective of an adjusted Ebitda loss of less than 15 million euros in 2024, a further significant reduction compared to the loss of 29 million euros in 2023. This improvement will be driven by a new increase in adjusted gross margin, through the operational leverage of revenue growth and through continued strict cost control, while continuing to invest strategically in the brand.

Finally, given the strong improvements in profitability achieved in 2023 and the expected momentum in revenue and profitability in 2024, Deezer confirms its ambition to achieve positive free cash flow in 2024 and positive adjusted Ebitda in 2025.
