Peer and Janni Kusmagk have finally arrived. Shortly before Christmas, the couple and their three young children emigrated to Mallorca. The first chaotic days in the new home are over and the everyday life of the emigrant family is slowly returning.

The past few weeks have cost Janni Kusmagk, 31, a lot of strength and nerves. Together with her husband Peer Kusmagk, 46, and their three children Emil-Ocean, 4, Yoko, 2, and Merlin, three months, she wants to build a new life on Mallorca. The family of five already spent Christmas in their new home. But until then it was a rocky road with all kinds of hurdles to be overcome.

In the meantime, the Kusmagks have settled in their new home and can slowly get used to their everyday life on the holiday island. This also includes a leisurely breakfast in the sun on the terrace, as the former professional surfer shows in her Instagram story. Then it’s time to feed the chickens that are currently still living in Baby Merlin’s playpen on the farm. “A friend invited us who has a farm with 200 chickens, we adopted some because we have so much space here,” explains Janni in a video. They are to be released after a few days of orientation on the family’s approximately 2500 square meter property.

Slowly but surely the new home of the Kusmagks is taking shape, even the internet is finally being set up and daughter Yoko is watching eagerly. While Janni and Peer are still rotating, the kids have fun playing in their own room with a loft bed.

Janni and Peer Kusmagk are looking for happiness on the island

It seems as if the family has finally arrived at their new home on the Balearic island after all the hardships of the past few weeks. “You shouldn’t wait too long to live where you’re happy,” the 31-year-old told the Mallorca newspaper at the beginning of November.
