This Tuesday, January 25, viewers will be able to find the adventures of Alex Hugo on France 3 with, in particular, the actress Marilyne Canto. On the private side, the latter experienced a terrible tragedy before finding love in the arms of an actor.
Marilyn Canto is a face well known to viewers and in particular to fans of the France Télévisions series, Alex Hugowith Samuel Le Bihan, an unpublished episode of which will be broadcast this Tuesday, January 25, on France 3. If the actress is rather discreet about her private life, she has lived a terrible drama in 1994. Marilyne Canto was married to another comedian, Benoît Régent, who died suddenly at the age of 40 after a ruptured aneurysm. 30 years old, she then found herself alone with their son, Ferdinand.
A test that she decided to tell in a film that she directed: The sense of humor. The feature film was released in theaters in 2014.. “It was so brutal. It wasn’t in the order of things. When a tragedy happens to you, you want to make something beautiful out of it…” she had explained in the columns of Gala. And to add: “It’s a modest film, not in the pathos: it speaks of vitality.”
Marilyne Canto: her second husband is also an actor
In the cast of this autobiographical film, is Marilyne Canto’s second husband, Antoine Chappey. “It is a wonderful actor. He inspired me, he had a rock band, he has two jobs, a bookseller and an actor, an element that I added to the writing of the character, she confided about the new man in her life. We shot at the Puces de Vanves. I thought it was romantic.” Together, the actors had one son Louis, now 23 years old. Marilyne Canto’s two boys have decided to follow in their parents’ footsteps: Ferdinand studied at the National Theater in Strasbourg and Louis became a comedian.
