Now they are 12 and 14 years old, but you can imagine that it was necessary to form a small core of people around me so that I could reconcile my life as a mother and a chef, with all the responsibilities and time constraints that this implied. As soon as I could afford it financially, I hired two nannies, one day and one night. It hasn’t been easy every day.“Assuring that her daughters already know what they want to do later, the juror of Top chef unveiled : “My daughter Charlotte, 14, who is a very deep, thoughtful and curious person, wants to become a psychiatrist. And Quitterie, 12, asked me one day if I knew Yale… She explained to me that this was where she wanted to go when she was older.“
Hélène Darroze is a single mother
In 2018, the pretty blonde made heartbreaking secrets about the values she wanted to pass on to her daughters. In the columns of TV Magazine, she explained:I try to show them that life is an opportunity, that we have a lot to learn from it and that we must make the most of it. They are spoiled little girls, but to whom I learn the values that have been transmitted to me of generosity, sharing, self-sacrifice and honesty.“Referring to the adoption of Charlotte and Quitterie, Hélène Darroze added:”When I decided to adopt, Laeticia (Hallyday, editor’s note) helped and supported me a lot.
