(Reuters) – Three airstrikes targeted the central Ukrainian city of Dnieper on Friday morning, killing at least one person, state emergency services reported, saying the missiles landed near a crèche and a residential building.
Ukraine recently warned that Russia was mobilizing its troops to encircle Dnieper, where a million people resided before the start of the invasion launched by Moscow on February 24.
