Germany is looking for the superstar: Michael Wendler is officially the new juror

The next juror for "Germany is looking for the superstar" has been determined. Michael Wendler will sit next to Dieter Bohlen and Mike Singer.

The new jury of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" continues to take shape. Now RTL has also announced the third juror for the coming season: Michael Wendler (48, "Doesn't matter"). The German singer, who has finally been married to his Laura (20) since June, is obviously looking forward to his commitment.

"Good morning in the morning, I'm Michael Wendler. And I'm one of the new DSDS jurors," he says in a short clip on the station. Most of all he is looking forward to "pop titan Dieter Bohlen, my jury colleagues, but especially to you". Professionally, he calls on the fans directly to apply for the new season.

A juror is still missing

Previously there had already been rumors that Wendler will be on the jury. There he meets veteran Dieter Bohlen (66) and his young singer colleague Mike Singer (20). According to the broadcaster, a juror will complete the team. However, it is not yet officially known who exactly will join the jury.

At the request of the news agency spot on news, RTL recently confirmed that, in addition to Bohlen, there would be "a completely new jury for 'DSDS'". The dancer and ex-juror Oana Nechiti (32) then said goodbye to this wonderful project on Instagram "with love and gratitude (…)." Her former jury colleague Pietro Lombardi (28) had also shown conciliatory on Instagram. Most recently, he repeatedly stated that he believed in a future comeback.
