Free masks: who will ultimately be entitled to them?

At the start of the 2020 school year, the mask will be compulsory for children from 11 years old. This measure to stop Covid 19 contaminations is however debated.
In fact, to be really effective, the mask must be changed every four hours or so. School being compulsory, this represents about two masks per child for four days of the week. Whether using single-use masks or reusable ones, the budget for a family of four could go up to 226 euros for single-use masks. Regarding reusable masks, it would be around 96 euros per month.
The government argues that distributions will be possible for " the most vulnerable to disease and the most precarious " Jean Castex said at the microphone of France Inter on August 26.
Faced with this, many local authorities will make stocks of masks available free of charge, such as in Hauts de France, Seine-Saint-Denis or even cities like Marseille.
