Zur Rose fell back in the first half

Zurich (awp) – Online apothecary and doctor’s office provider Zur Rose saw sales decline in the first half, particularly in Germany, where e-prescribing is still not rolled out. He confirmed his goals.

Revenues declined by 3.4% to 963.9 million Swiss francs in the first six months of 2022. Gross operating loss (Ebitda) reached 43.1 million after 49.7 million a year earlier, details the mid-term report released on Thursday.

The net loss sank to 86.1 million from 77 million.

The sales of the Thurgovian group miss the AWP consensus. Ebit and net profit are within the forecast range.

For 2022, management confirms that it is aiming for an adjusted Ebitda between -75 and -95 million Swiss francs. Crossing the operating break-even point is expected in 2023.
