For several months now, Dark Souls players cannot enjoy their games properly. Bandai Namco has finally started solving this problem for an episode.
Despite the promise of the Dark Souls Trilogy PC servers returning, nothing was happening. And quite a surprise because the publisher has partly stemmed the problem and we are moving forward.
Dark Souls 3 PC servers restored
In accordance with what Bandai Namco had announced, the Dark Souls 3 PC servers have been operational for a few hours. But as expected, those of the first DS of the name and Dark Souls 2 will not be restored until later.
We are currently in the process of restoring the DS franchise online servers to PC and plan to gradually restore online services for each game, restoring those for DS3 when we have done the work necessary to correct the problem. We will keep you informed of the restoration schedule. We thank all players for their patience and understanding.
When ? The information has still not been shared by the publisher. The servers were originally shut down due to a security breach, prior to the release of Elden Ring. By infiltrating players’ games, some users could steal personal data and install viruses or unwanted applications.
It is to be hoped that the smart guys don’t find another flaw to exploit to the detriment of the players.
