Available for a few weeks now, the Google Pixel 6a is entitled to a rather welcome new update.

This indeed corrects the various wanderings of the fingerprint sensor on board the smartphone signed Google.

The Google Pixel 6 has finally “fixed”!

Since July 28, fans of Google terminals can afford the all-new Pixel 6a. In our full test, we called it ” the most consistent smartphone of the moment under the 500 euro mark “. However, a defect remains for many users: a capricious and unstable fingerprint sensor.

Indeed, many users have expressed their dissatisfaction with the fingerprint sensor, which struggles to unlock the smartphone… when it does not unlock it by mistake. Also, Google has just rolled out a new update (in beta) which focuses mainly on this weakness.

According to the first feedback, this update seems to quickly demonstrate its effectiveness. The fingerprint reader is faster and more precise, even when detection is deliberately made difficult, for example by placing only the outer edge of a finger on the reader. Good news then, even if we will have to wait a little longer before the public deployment of this new update.
