A disdainful yet surprising email made for the love comeback of the decade in 2021. Jennifer Lopez revealed this in an interview with US “Vogue”.
Under media scrutiny, Jennifer Lopez, 53, and Ben Affleck, 50, got engaged in November 2002, only to call it quits just over a year later in January 2004. It took more than 18 long years for Bennifer, as the press called her in the early 2000s, to find each other again. The couple celebrated the wedding happy ending in July and once again fantastically big in August 2022.
The singer is just as amazed as everyone else that they managed to rekindle this love that was once so great. She revealed this in an interview with the US fashion magazine “Vogue”. But how did the fairytale ending that Lopez is so amused by today begin? That’s why there are some speculations that the actress has now cleared up in the December issue.

In March 2021, US media first circulated the rumor that Jennifer Lopez and former baseball pro Alex Rodríguez, 47, had broken off their engagement and split up. A denial followed promptly – as did the confirmation of the separation just a few weeks later in April with another statement.

During that same period, Lopez received an email from Affleck, who had also recently split from his fellow actress Ana de Armas, 34. The singer confirmed this in the “Vogue” interview. As early as May 2021, anonymous sources claimed to the US celebrity portal “TMZ” that Ben flooded Jennifer with romantic emails and thus started their romance. And indeed, these insiders are correct.
