In "Mortal Engines: War of the Cities" (RTL) mankind fights for the last resources after a catastrophe. In Dortmund's "Tatort" (Das Erste), the corpse of a young woman is a mystery. And the reporter Eddie Brock merges with an alien to "Venom" (ProSieben).

After a global catastrophe, the earth is devastated. People live in gigantic metropolises on wheels and roam the earth in search of food and valuable resources. Tom Natsworthy (Robert Sheehan) lives in the moving fortress of London, where he meets the mysterious Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar), whose city was attacked and destroyed. Now Hester wants revenge on Thaddeus Valentine (Hugo Weaving), who is in charge in London, and asks Tom for help.
