HRS climbs after its partnership with and Engie Solutions

(Boursier.com) — HRS climbed 4% to 21.35 euros on Friday, as the group and Engie Solutions announced that they would combine their know-how to accelerate the implementation of hydrogen-related projects, with a target of 15 projects by 2026, including 4 by 2024, as a priority for carbon-free mobility ecosystems.
Engie Solutions and HRS are thus taking a new step by formalizing a founding strategic partnership for hydrogen mobility which will extend until 2026.
This agreement will make it possible to share the complementary industrial know-how of the two partners in order to respond effectively and quickly to the needs of public and private players in terms of hydrogen infrastructure.

Engie Solutions and HRS thus confirm their strong involvement in the development of an innovative and competitive French hydrogen mobility sector. The objective of the partners is to create an offer of hydrogen refueling stations adapted to the needs of Engie Solutions, which could in particular take the form of a new range of products.

Initially, a modular architecture depending on the project will be considered, while aiming for the standardization of solutions, then a move upmarket, moving from units of several hundred kg / day of capacity to quickly 1 ton / day then 2 tons / day, due to the increasing intensity of needs and the significant focus of partners on heavy mobility. These solutions will be integrated into ecosystems that may include different elements, such as the production and supply of hydrogen, the hydrogen distribution station (fuel station, multi-use), the scalability of the stations or the setting up automobile and/or heavy mobility fuel cell fleets.

In addition, the partners will work together to develop hydrogen mobility ecosystem projects, focusing primarily on heavy mobility, captive fleets and fuel-consuming off-road vehicles. The partners will also pool resources in order to facilitate the development of projects and improve the quality of the operation of the infrastructures and of the service provided to user customers.

The shared ambition of HRS and Engie Solutions is to accelerate the penetration of their joint solutions with an objective of 15 projects to be developed within the framework of the partnershipincluding 4 projects by the end of 2024.

Control of an HRS 200 station

As part of these joint projects, Engie Solutions placed an order for a first hydrogen refueling station. This first station associated with the growing production capacity of HRS will allow rapid deployment of the first projects identified by the partners…

“Engie and HRS have already worked together on many projects” comments Portzamparc, who points out that this agreement has been expected since Q1 2021 and targets the joint deployment of 15 projects, providing additional visibility. “Remember that HRS has already secured 62 stations (5 installed + 57 on order) out of its target of 100 by June 2025 and the pipeline (more than 1 MdE) encourages optimism” continues the analyst who is aiming for a course of 30.4 euros remaining for purchase on file.
