You don’t choose your family… Relations between the Windsors and Prince Harry are strained, as are those between Meghan Markle and her half-sister Samantha. A few weeks ago, the latter announced her intention to sue the Duchess of Sussex for defamation. As Newsweek revealed a few days ago, she made several requests, saying she wants to get all the “documents that highlight a form of harassment against him“. A request refused by Meghan Markle’s teams who assured that it would be a waste of time. Thus, Samantha Markle’s lawyers have, this time, explained their desire to obtain “all photos, written communications and documents” that Meghan Markle has in her possession, which evokes their relationship. The half-sister of Prince Harry’s wife also wishes to obtain “all communications between Meghan markle and Buckingham and Kensington Palace, in particular with Jason Knauf, in which she is mentioned“. Requests that seem to bother the team of Meghan Markle since she does not want to waste her time.
Samantha Make has every intention of going after her half-sister. In 2018, the book Finding Freedom, written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, has been unveiled. In this one, a chapter devoted to Samantha was there but the principal concerned had not been interviewed for this occasion. “Samantha Markle also wishes to have the exchanges and communications between the authors and Meghan Markle“, explains the media before adding: “Written communications in which you specifically ask the authors of the book not to talk to me“. In addition, in March 2021, Meghan Markle and her husband gave an interview to Oprah Winfrey. During these, the couple confided in each other, without jargon and chained the revelations, each more shocking than the other. The Duchess of Sussex had claimed to barely know her half-sister and the main concerned had finally decided to file a complaint against the coupleexplaining that they had made “manifestly false and malicious statements” which would have tarnished his reputation.

Since the start, Meghan Markle has never spoken.
