A new day, a new leak for the highly anticipated Resident Evil 9. Leaker and insider Dusk Golem reveals yet another major element of Capcom’s next title.
If we already know that Resident Evil 9 could be released in January 2025, many unknowns remain, such as the setting of this next horrific adventure. This is precisely the subject of today’s leak.
Resident Evil 9 goes on vacation, things go wrong
According to Dusk Golem, Resident Evil 9, which should follow Village, will abandon Eastern Europe and push towards Asia. More precisely in Southeast Asia. Capcom’s next title should not, however, abandon the rural atmosphere of the previous opus or even Resident Evil 4 Remake. It would indeed be a question of a new modest fictitious city, located on an island inspired by Singapore.
This new revelation could in any case fit with other Dusk Golem leaks. He had indeed indicated that the next opus of Capcom’s flagship survival horror franchise would try to scare us in an open world.
