The After saga, adapted from the eponymous novels by Anna Todd, is back on our screens with the forthcoming release of the fourth installment. As it was announced as the final chapter in the franchise, fans were overjoyed to learn that a fifth and final film had been produced in secret!
While waiting to know the ultimate outcome of the tumultuous love story between Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes-Tiffin), the public, who has been following the saga since the success of the literary series, will very soon be able to discover After: Chapter 4.
A date for After 4
If it is released in cinemas in certain countries, the French will be able to watch the film on Amazon Prime Video, which has recovered the broadcasting rights since the second part. And the platform has finally announced the broadcast date via actor Hero Fiennes Tiffin: September 23!
The already complicated relationship between Tessa and Hardin will be shaken by shocking revelations about their respective families. Before being entitled to a happy ending, the two lovebirds will have to meet new obstacles and face questions about the stability of their relationship.
The original title “After Ever Happy” announces the color: Tessa and Hardin will have to learn to be happy on their own before they can be happy together. Shot in Bulgaria following the third installment, After 4 is still directed by Castille Landon, who was already in charge of After 3.
The two main actors are obviously in the game with the newcomers of the third chapter, who have replaced former performers. Thus, Mira Sorvino replaced Selma Blair in the skin of Carol Young, the mother of Tessa.
Arielle Kebbel and Stephen Moyer replaced Candice King and Charlie Weber as Kim and Christian Vance. Finally, Chance Perdomo replaced Shane Paul McGhie as Landon Gibson, Tessa’s best friend and Hardin’s half-brother.
