A shameful copy of Baldur’s Gate 3 which will not last long
It was expected that the success of Baldur’s Gate 3 both critically and commercially would give ideas to competing studios in the years to come. But plagiarism is something else entirely and when it happens so quickly, we can really call it opportunism. Mobile gaming Balder War is precisely a pale copy of the RPG, even going so far as to offer the same promotional image. The only differences here are that all the faces look different and more human than in the original artwork. Obviously, this counterfeit did not remain available on the App Store for very long and that is quite normal.
On the social network On his account, he published the ridiculous copy of the Baldur’s Gate 3 artwork next to the famous “Judge Judy” GIF well known to Internet experts. We do not yet know whether behind the scenes, Larian took legal action against the studio at the origin of this plagiarism or not. In any case, Baldur’s Gate 3 is neither the first nor the last famous game to be copied in such a laughable way. Recently, this also happened to The Last of Us, a copy of which remained available for a short while on the Nintendo eShop. For its part, Sony had not taken the initiative lightly at all and had filed a complaint for copyright infringement in order to obtain the definitive removal of the infringement.
