The news portal Teslerati now claims to have solved the riddle. It shows pictures of a foldable tiny house that are supposed to show how frugal the billionaire lives today. The $ 50,000 property is said to be a tiny prefabricated house measuring six by six meters. That would mean Musk lives in less than 40 square meters of living space.
According to the portal, it is the model Casita (Spanish for small house) by the prefabricated house builder Boxabl, is made of concrete slabs and steel and is foldable. The house is said to be featured in a promotional film made by the company last year. In the end of the video, the speaker mentions that the casita he is presenting was built for a very special customer. Faded in next to him: a poster with a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.
