The 48th Cesar ceremony will take place on February 24 at L’Olympia and will be broadcast on Canal+. The Académie des César has announced a major novelty this year concerning the presentation of the show.
This year, the César ceremony has many surprises in store. Tahar Rahim will present the 48th edition. Changes are to be expected on the side of the presenters. The Académie des César and Canal+ have chosen to a collegial presentation for this new edition. “A collegial and joyful presentation in support of cinematographic creation, a collective mobilization in the service of a renewed ceremony which will highlight the diversity and richness of cinema in France”said Canal + and the Académie des César in a press release.
In total, 9 personalities so 4 women and 5 men will be in charge of the show. We will find Leïla Bekhti, Emmanuelle Devos, Jerôme Commandeur, Jamel Debbouze, Léa Drucker, Alex Lurtz, Ahmed Sylla, Eye Haïdara, Raphaël Personnaz. “Together, they will share their love of cinema and celebrate the time of this great event, those who have made it shine this year.“, specified the Academy of Caesar on his Instagram account.
The Artistic Direction of the ceremony was entrusted by the director Éric Lartigau. For his part, Jérôme Commandeur had already presented the program in 2017. For Jamel Debbouze, he presided over the ceremony in 2013.
