Atlus is giving Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers a gift, offering them highly anticipated content from Persona 3 Reload. It completely changes the game.
The remake of Persona 3 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series was a real breath of fresh air for fans of the license. Named Reload, it did much more than bring a 2006 title up to date, because in addition to improved graphics, all the settings were redone. From now on, we move more freely around the school, for example. However, the game is not yet complete, because an important chapter of the story is missing. Fortunately, Atlus is correcting the situation and even offering a huge gift to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
Great gifts for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members
Persona 3 Reload will have three DLCs, but for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, they will be free. More precisely, it will be an expansion pass divided into several parts, the Persona 3 Reload Expansion Pass. It will include new outfits, as well as new music, but above all a highly anticipated chapter of the story. However, as explained, everything will not come out at once, but will be rolled out in waves over the course of 2024.
From March 12, players will be able to discover the first part of the expansion with new music from Persona 5 Royal (Extra) and Persona 4 Golden (Extra). The second wave will arrive in May 2024 and will feature even more new songs, but also new costumes.
It’s the third part that will be the most interesting, because it will include the major DLC Aigis – The Answer, expected in September. This story already integrated into Persona 3 FES (the improved version of the original game) offers fans a brand new epilogue. In it, the members of the SEES find themselves trapped in an endless day. It’s up to you to dive into the abyss to put an end to this strange phenomenon! This episode will be priced at 34.99 euros on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. For Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, it will be free until January 31, 2025.
Kotone is still missing from Persona 3
If Atlus finally brings fans the long-awaited DLC, they are not satisfied. Despite the release of Reload, many are calling for the return of Kotone, the female equivalent of the hero Makoto. Unfortunately, the developers only focused on bringing back Persona 3 FES features. They thus left aside the Portable edition, in which it appears, and which does not seem to interest them. For the moment, only a few fan-created mods can revive it, but who knows… The community sometimes has great persuasive power.
