The players were entitled to multiple theories concerning the launch date of this sixth installment, or even before anything else, of its announcement.

While the theories of 2021 have now collapsed, fans are pinning their hopes on 2022 and they might just be right.
A GTA 6 announcement in 2022?
According to a leaker whose notoriety is well established, Rockstar could finally be ready to announce Grand Theft Auto 6 in the coming months.
In a post on the GTA forums, the leaker stated that “The new year is pretty much acquired for the announcement of the next title.”
“If we trust the habits of Rockstar with its titles of magnitude, an exit could be set a year later”, he added.
His statements give more weight to theories that relied on an announcement of GTA 6 in 2022 followed by a release in 2023.
Obviously, even as it sounds plausible, GTA 6 leaks should still be taken with a grain of salt. Unfortunately, as always, as long as Rockstar Games does not speak up, we can only keep our fingers crossed as to the future of this sixth installment.
