A man kills a Pôle Emploi advisor and the HRD of his former company: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Thursday January 28, 2021 around 9 a.m., shots were heard in a Pôle Emploi agency in Valence. According to information from theAFP, an armed man entered the establishment to shoot a Pôle Emploi adviser. As the Dauphiné Liberated, the individual would then have gone, by car, to Faun, a company specializing in waste collection, located 5 kilometers away, in Guilherand-Granges, in Ardèche, on the other bank of the Rhône to attack there the 51-year-old director of human resources, who would have succumbed to his injuries. As reported France blue, the suspect, an engineer from Meurthe-et-Moselle would have worked in this company as an engineer, before being made redundant about ten years ago. The 45-year-old is unknown to police and territorial intelligence and his motives remain unclear for the time being.

The individual then fled by taking a bridge in the opposite direction towards Valence, where his vehicle struck a police car which was in pursuit. The three police officers were also injured instantly, but the man was arrested at 9:30 am. The investigation was then entrusted to the regional judicial police service in Valencia.
