Gran Turismo 7, the popular racing game, regularly benefits from significant updates aimed at improving the gaming experience. This is the case today.

Since its launch on March 4, 2022, Gran Turismo 7 has undergone numerous developments, with the aim of making the gaming experience ever more realistic. The “Spec II” update (Version 1.40), expected for November 2, 2023, promises to be particularly rich in new features. It will add a wide range of cars and inaugurate a new snowy circuit. It will also introduce a multitude of new features to further enrich the gaming experience. It’s quite simple, it’s the biggest update in the history of the game.

On the program, we find in particular new content designed to slightly renew the gaming experience with:

  • New cinematic introduction : the game now opens with an introductory video enriched with new visual animations.
  • Added seven new cars : From American muscle cars to the latest models of electric sports cars, this update covers a wide variety of vehicles. New models offered include ’68 Dodge Charger R/T 426 Hemi, ’18 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, ’10 Lexus LFA, ’91 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II, ’91 NISMO 400R 95, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) ’22 and the Tesla Model 3 Performance ’23.
  • A unique snowy circuit in Canada : Immerse yourself in a unique driving experience on the “Lake Louise” circuit, nestled in the heart of the impressive Canadian Rockies. A magnificent setting, but potentially dangerous…
  • Three new menus at the Café : These additional menus expand the Café section, giving you new car collecting challenges.
  • New weekly events and challenges : with the addition of five standard races and two expert level races to the World Circuits pavilion, the studio wants to introduce you to new challenges.

  • Added events, the Master License: prepare to take on 50 challenging new tests
  • Adding Paddocks: a new space dedicated to the presentation of players’ cars. But also interactions with the community, accessible from the world circuits and the multiplayer pavilion.
  • Split-screen mode for up to four players (PS5 exclusive): share the screen and compete with up to three other players. Each with their own controller.
  • Slower shutter speeds for racing screenshots : Capture more dynamic images and let your creativity run wild.
  • Additions to Scapes: Explore the Polyphony Digital office in Tokyo and discover new locations popular with the gaming community.
  • New dashboard: Get a complete overview of your game progress, garage inventory and collector level.
