Dodge is now under the bosom of the Stellantis group, the American firm can take advantage of group synergies to go, why not, try out elsewhere than in the United States.
In any case, this is what our colleagues from theAutomotive Magazine who, according to their information, announce that Dodge could arrive in Europe with two models around 2025.
The two models in question are the Dodge Challenger and the Dodge RAM. The first model is a sports-oriented sedan, while the second is a huge pickup truck competing with the Ford F-150 in particular.
To compete with the Ford F-150 Lightning?
Speaking of Ford F-150, it is also perhaps because of him that Dodge will land on the Old Continent with an electric RAM. Indeed, the firm with the blue oval recently confirmed the arrival of the F-150 Lightning on our roads, an imposing 100% electric pickup that we were able to approach recently.
For the moment, the two vehicles have not been presented. They are still under development. We should know a little more at the next CES in Las Vegas, in early 2023, where Dodge should present one of the two products.
Both cars should rest on Stellantis’ STLA platforma platform that equips both small electric models and larger vehicles.
The return of American manufacturers to Europe
More generally, it is a return of historic American manufacturers that is looming in Europe.
