a new surprise update. Here’s what changes

CD Projekt RED has just deployed a new update for Cyberpunk 2077. It fixes a slew of problems and bugs of all kinds, which could be very annoying.

CD Projekt RED is resolutely focused on the future. The Polish studio is currently working on The Witcher 4, its next big project, but also on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. Known internally under the code name Orion, it already promises to be bigger and more ambitious than its predecessor. . The developers have already indicated that they do not want to repeat their past mistakes, but the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have been completely forgotten. It must be said that the teams spared no effort to restore the studio’s image, but also to deliver a version closer to their original version of the game. However, some of the staff still continue to pamper Cyberpunk a little. 2077, proof of this is with the deployment of patch 2.12 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.

A new update for Cyberpunk 2077

If CP 2077 will no longer have significant updates with lots of new features, CD Projekt RED is not abandoning its most complicated project to date. Patch 2.12 was deployed this Thursday, February 29, 2024 and if it is less substantial than usual, it will have the merit of correcting a whole bunch of problems encountered after the arrival of update 2.11 of Cyberpunk 2077. This includes obviously the problems with the keyboard shortcuts, in particular the assignment of the T key which caused a lot of problems for the players concerned. To stay on PC specifics, bugs linked to Intel and Razer hardware are also a thing of the past, as are the textures of the hair of certain NPCs which shone brightly when ray tracing was activated. On the Xbox side, players should no longer experience infinite save loading.

For the rest, Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.12 fixes a slew of bugs that affect everyone, regardless of platform. We will obviously highlight the problem which prevented you from opening the menu, the inventory or even using fast travel in certain cases. It will definitely be more pleasant to walk around Night City. The city has also eradicated its groups of immortal enemies. Note also that the visibility of the cursor in the menus has also been improved, whether with the controller or with the sacrosanct keyboard-mouse combo. Here are details of all the fixes brought by patch 2.12 of Cyberpunk 2077.
