For Giovanni Zarrella, hosting a big Saturday evening show is a dream come true. In an interview, he explains how happy he is.
Singer Giovanni Zarrella (42) will host a big Saturday night hit show on ZDF as the successor to Carmen Nebel (64) in 2021. "This is one of the most important moments of my career. But it is also a success for my whole family, from my parents to my wife and children. We always made decisions together and supported each other," he said in an interview with the magazine "Gala".
"I've often dreamed of it"
For Zarrella, this commitment in the truest sense of the word is a dream come true. "I've often dreamed of doing a big Saturday night show, but I never thought it would come true," he continues. He didn't really believe it until the official report from ZDF came out. "I must have read it 30 times. Maybe I'll frame it too," he laughs.
Will his wife (since 2005), model and presenter Jana Ina Zarrella (43) also be part of the new show? "The content of the show is currently being developed. An appearance by Jana Ina cannot be ruled out," said Giovanni Zarrella.
