An ordinary man is the title of a mini-series that will highlight the Dupont de Ligonnès affair. It will be broadcast on M6 and we already know the cast.

M6 will broadcast the mini-series inspired by the sordid story of Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès. The television program will be titled An ordinary man and will feature the story of a father, the only one to have survived a massacre. It was Pierre Aknine who was behind the camera and who therefore produced this long-awaited mini-series. Anna Badel worked on the screenplay and we can expect a fascinating result since through a press release they both confided to work on this case for a year and a half: "For more than a year and a half, the screenwriter (Anna Badel) and I worked on the history of the Dupont de Ligonnès family. We infiltrated it, dissected it, reading letters, emails, articles and interviews with several concerned protagonists. Slowly a conviction emerged, a possibility of approaching this story in a sensitive way " they explained at the time. The series will consist of 52-minute episodes and will be available on M6 from September 15th. It is therefore in the greatest discretion that the series was shot.

The story will follow Anna-Rose, played by Emilie Dequenne, a hacker who leads the investigation in parallel with the police. In reality, a cyber investigator had genuinely taken an interest in the case and helped the police move the investigation forward. The synopsis, loosely based on the Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès affair, says: "In April 2011, the family of Salin was found murdered, buried under the terrace of the family house. The mother, the four children and the two Labradors were executed. Only the father is missing … He has vanished."

We will also find the actor Arnaud Ducret who will play the father of the family. He announced his participation in the series on his Instagram account and the reactions were multiple. The actor seems to be on all fronts since we can also see him in the TV movie which will retrace the life of Grégory Lemarchal on TF1.
