After putting Red Hood and Nightwing in the spotlight during a 15-minute gameplay showcase, the sidekicks are back in better shape than ever. The Dark Knight’s proteges have brought some order to Summer Game Fest 2022 with a new Gotham Knights trailer.
A bit of history and gameplay for Gotham Knights
Contrary to what one might expect, it was not Batgirl and Robin who were honored. Instead Warner presented a bit of story, gameplay and co-op, all centered around Nightwing, Batman’s first ally. The adventure will also only be playable with 2 players in co-op, contrary to rumors which suggested an epic bringing together up to four people.
As a reminder, the story of Gotham Knights will feature the famous Court of Owls and a Gotham left in the grip of crime with the death of Batman. Its four most famous former sidekicks will have to take up the torch to bring order. The game will be available on October 25, 2022 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. A very expensive collector’s edition has also been announced.
