A young man died on Wednesday of his injuries after being shot following an argument and the alleged perpetrator was taken into police custody, announced the public prosecutor of Caen. The facts occurred on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, around 2 a.m., in La Cambe, near Bayeux.
“An altercation took place between two young people, blows were exchanged then a discharge of pellets hit one of them. The victim was transported with vital prognosis to CHU Caen and died (Wednesday) morning” , Amélie Cladière told AFP, confirming information from Ouest-France.
The first elements of the investigation do not yet make it possible to know the reason for the dispute or whether the young people knew each other. The victim was 26 years old, according to the daily.
