ABB: A new board of directors for ABB E-mobility


(CercleFinance.com) – ABB E-mobility today announces the appointment of a new board of directors.

Following the appointment of its chairman, Michael Halbherr, along with three ABB representatives, Morten Wierod (president of the Electrification division), Carolina Granat (head of Human Resources) and Andreas Wenzel (head of Strategy and Mergers and acquisitions), three other independent members of the ABB E-mobility board have been appointed: Håkan Samuelsson, Annette Köhler and Peter Molengraaf.

Richard Silén, managing director of IH Long-Term Equity Advisors AB, has also been appointed to the board.

The Board of Directors, whose expertise spans automotive, energy, finance and digitalization, was set up to govern the division in an independent entrepreneurial spirit.

At the same time, ABB E-Mobility announces that it has signed a pre-IPO private placement of approximately 200 million Swiss francs for new shares, led by new minority investors.
