AC DC: These members are returning

AC / DC have published a new band photo on Twitter, announcing the return of three familiar faces.

The cult rockers from Australia have kept their fans on their toes in the past few days: AC / DC ("Highway to Hell") had released a clip with a flickering flash, their fans had hoped that there would be new music from the band soon . Now the rockers have stoked more hope and a new band photo released.

On the black and white picture: three former members who have rejoined the band. The returnees include lead singer Brian Johnson (72), who left the band in 2016 due to health problems. Bassist Cliff Williams (70) had also turned his back on AC / DC in the course of this. Drummer Phil Rudd (66) was not officially divorced from the band, but has not been able to play since 2014 due to legal proceedings.

The three join guitarist Angus Young (65) and rhythm guitarist Stevie Young (63), who replaced his uncle Malcolm, who was ill in 2014 and then died in 2017. The band added the hashtag #PWRUP to the new band photo, which is why it is assumed that the new album could be called "Power Up".

Rumors about reunion have been around for a long time

A few days ago, AC / DC had not only changed their profile picture, but also shared a short clip of a flickering, red lightning bolt. For many fans of the band it is clear: AC / DC will soon announce fresh music. A tour announcement is rather ruled out in the current corona situation. As early as December last, there had been rumors that AC / DC were working on new music with former front man Brian Johnson.
