Accident in Going – pedestrians hit by a car and seriously injured

Serious traffic accident on Friday morning in the municipality of Going am Wilden Kaiser in Tyrol! Two pedestrians were hit by a car. According to the police, the two women were seriously injured – both had to be taken to the Innsbruck clinic.

At around 6.45 a.m., a 59-year-old Austrian was driving his car in the “Stanglwirt community” of Going on the Loferer Bundesstraße from St. Johann towards Ellmau. “At the same time, two Hungarian women aged 20 and 50 were crossing the federal highway. “There was a collision with the car,” says the police. Rescue helicopter in action The two women suffered serious injuries in the accident. The 50-year-old was flown to the Innsbruck clinic by rescue helicopter. The 20-year-old was taken to the St. Johann in Tirol hospital and from there transferred to the Innsbruck clinic. “The driver of the car remained uninjured,” said the executive. There was serious damage to the vehicle.
