A work accident in Sulzau came to a fatal end on Wednesday: According to the police, a Bosnian worker (46) was hit by a fallen tree and died on the spot.
The tragic accident occurred during forest work at around 1,000 meters above sea level in the morning hours. The Bosnian forest worker had previously felled the tree himself. According to the police report, the 46-year-old suffered serious injuries in the pelvic area. Despite treatment by the emergency doctor, the man died on the spot. The body was recovered by a police helicopter.
