Accor in exclusive negotiations to take control of Potel & Chabot

(AOF) – The Accor Group, Andera Partners and several associated investors announced on Friday that they had entered into exclusive negotiations for the acquisition by Accor of the 63% stake in Potel & Chabot that it does not currently own. Following this transaction, Accor will become the sole shareholder of Potel & Chabot, which will be integrated into the Group’s Luxury & Lifestyle division. The transaction is expected to be finalized in the fall of 2023.

Founded in 1820, the Potel & Chabot group, now Momense, specializes in the organization of tailor-made prestigious receptions: it caters for major events in France and abroad under its brands, Potel & Chabot and Saint-Clair.

Its offer is based on three activities: receptions for large companies and private customers, major sporting and cultural events including the French Open at Roland Garros, hospitality at PSG, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Saut Hermès, as well as the management of exceptional reception venues located in the heart of Paris such as the Pavillon Gabriel, the Pavillon Cambon, the Hôtel d’Evreux and the Pavillon Dauphine.

In 2023, Potel & Chabot should achieve sales of around 130 million euros.
