MADRID, June 6 (Reuters) – Board members of Spanish steelmaker Acerinox voted unanimously on Monday to end talks with rival Aperam over a possible merger, the company said on Monday. the Madrid Stock Exchange.
The two groups announced on Friday that they had entered into talks on the possibility of a merger, while specifying that they could not guarantee their success.
The title Acerinox yielded 1.95% after the announcement of the cessation of negotiations and Aperam gave up 2.88%.
