ACS hires SocGen to sell its services unit in a €700 million to €800 million deal, according to Expansion – 11/13/2023 at 9:30 a.m.

Spanish construction group ACS ACS.MC has hired Societe Generale investment bank SOGN.PA to sell its Clece services unit, Expansion newspaper reported on Monday, citing unidentified financial sources.

The unit, which provides building maintenance, logistics and personal assistance services mainly in Spain, is said to be worth between 700 million euros ($748.5 million) and 800 million euros, has reported Expansion. The unit employs 80,000 people.

According to the newspaper, ACS also hired Bank of America

BAC.N for sale.

ACS, Société Générale and Bank of America did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Rivals Sacyr SCYR.MC and Ferrovial FERF.AS have already sold parts or all of their service units in recent months.
