Addict on TF1: this difficult scene which put Cécile Bois in “a borderline state”

After the broadcast of the last episodes of “Addict” on TF1, find out which final scene of the mini-series was particularly hard to shoot for Cécile Bois, the interpreter of the heroine of fiction …

Thursday November 10, 2022, TF1 offered its viewers to follow the last two episodes of its Addict mini-series, with Cécile Bois and Sagamore Stévenin.

A passionate and a narcissistic pervert

Here, the actress (who confided in us about this experience) slipped into the skin of Elodie, a married woman and mother whose relationship as a couple is in the trough. With her husband Yvan (Medi Sadoun) and their children, they move to another hometown to start their lives from scratch.

Bruno (Sagamore Stévenin, who told us about this intense role), their new neighbor, is very welcoming and does not take long to show a great romantic interest in Elodie. Insidiously, he interferes in the flaws of the couple and manages to seduce the latter.

Their passionate affair even takes Elodie further and further away from her family because she falls in love with Bruno… However, this one has a troubled past and he is in fact a dangerous narcissistic pervert!

A grueling finale to shoot

Over the course of Addict, Elodie and her loved ones understand that their charming neighbor is none other than a psychopath. In one of the final scenes of the fiction, our heroine finally confronts her executioner and he strangles her violently in order to kill her… A tense sequence, particularly difficult to play according to Cécile Wood.

For AlloCiné, this one indeed returned to the complicated boxing of this decisive moment in history: “The end scene between Bruno and Elodie was the hardest to shoot. We did it for a very long time, at night, until 5 in the morning, remembers the star of Candice Renoir. It was always the same thing to reproduce because it was cut out. You had to stay in the same borderline state, the same state of fatigue and excess… There were a lot of issues to interpret.

Despite the challenge represented by the filming of this capital sequence, it is clear that the final result is successful, despite the major weaknesses of Addict… A mini-series available in full on Salto.
