Adele has campaigned at Spotify to ensure that the streaming service dispenses with a standard function when playing songs.

Singer Adele (33) released her new album “30” a few days ago. On the occasion of the publication of her new work, the British woman advocated a change in the streaming service Spotify. “This was the only request I had in our ever-changing industry,” wrote the musician on twitter. She shared a tweet about the fact that the streaming service has done away with the shuffle button, which ensures that songs are played randomly, as a standard option for albums.

The order of the songs is important to the musician

“We create albums with so much care and put a lot of thought into the order of the songs for a reason. Our art tells a story and our stories should be heard as we intended. Thanks Spotify for listening,” continued the singers in continued her tweet.

Her album “30” was released on November 19th – after a six-year musical break. Fans and critics alike were enthusiastic about the song “Easy on Me”, the forerunner of the album. Within a few hours, over 18 million people clicked on the video.
