While she was to launch her series of performances in Las Vegas from January 21, Adele announced to her fans that she could not finally perform the show on the scheduled date. A decision taken at the last minute, which particularly annoyed his audience.
The tears of the British singer could not calm the anger of her fans, who had already made the trip to Las Vegas. On Twitter, some lamented the timing of Adele, who warned of the cancellation of her dates the day before the launch of her residency.
Hi Adele! It’s my bday and I am on an airplane rn using the last of my vacation time for a whole year to see you along with some non refundable deposits and a week of babysitting. I guess we will miss your new dates. I’m sad you couldn’t decide this until the last minute.

“Hi Adele! It’s my birthday and I’m live off the plane, using my last vacation days of the whole year to see you, all with non-refundable fees and a week of paid babysitting. So we won’t be here for your new dates. I am sad that you did not decide before, ”wrote a disappointed Internet user.
Another Internet user did not spare the singer: “People made the trip just to see your show in Vegas! They spent thousands of dollars to see you and this is how you treat them? It’s unacceptable to do this to people who used their hard-earned money for you!” he wrote.
You have people who traveled to Vegas for your show! They’ve spent thousands of dollars to come see you and this is how you treat them? This is absolutely unacceptable to do to people who spend their hard earned money to see you!

I traveled all the way from Sydney Australia to see @Adele tomorrow in Vegas. I spent thousands of dollars on this trip and now she canceled the night before. Very unprofessional and I am heartbroken. Can I get m&g passes for PLAY instead @ResortsWorldLV @Katy Perry pic.twitter.com/WtNXQkx9IT

Adele in tears
The 33-year-old British artist’s residency was originally scheduled to take place from January to April 2022, at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. All scheduled dates will be rescheduled, as Adele indicated in a video posted on Instagram, in which she appears in tears, annoyed by the turn of events.
“I’m sorry but my show is not ready. We have tried absolutely everything to get everything done on time and for the show to be up to par for you, but we have completely suffered from the extended delivery times with the Covid. Half of my team has the Covid, so it was impossible to finish the show”, she explained.
According to information from Billboard, Adele’s residency is expected to earn her more than $50 million, or the equivalent of $2.2 million per show.
A few hours after posting her video, the singer wanted to thank the fans who were understanding, writing on Twitter: “I have the best fans in the world! The grace and love you showed me tonight warms my heart! Thank you”.
